Our Vision
Wayne County Shopping Fling happens twice a year. In the Spring, generally the weekend before Mother's Day, and in the Fall, on Veteran's Day weekend.
Our mission is to highlight 20 small businesses in Wayne County, New York. An eclectic mix of gift shops, antique dealers, wineries, artisans, and more!
Our Team
The planning and organization of the bi-annual event is all done by volunteers. Our shop owners manage everything from the email list, to designing the brochure, creating the yard signs, collecting items for the gift baskets, managing the raffle entries and updating the Facebook page.
Our Events
Spring: Traditionally the weekend before Mother's Day.
Fall: Veteran's Day weekend, this is when shops are decked out for Christmas.
Both are 3 day events - Friday, Saturday, Sunday - 10 am - 5 pm, all shops are required to be open these hours despite their normal schedule.
Each shop will offer a free gift just for stopping in!
Stamp sheets can be picked up at any of our locations, fill out your contact information on the bottom and start shopping for your next treasure or gift! Leave the sheet at your last stop and they will turn it in for your chance at one of four gift baskets. (To receive a stamp, you must be 18 or older and present with sheet.)
Chances of winning are approximately 4 in 600!
